Halloween is an event where children love to dress up in costumes and take part in trick or treating. They may dress up as scary characters such as witches and ghosts and knock on their neighbour’s doors and ask for a trick or treat. They normally receive a treat in the form of sweets.
Halloween is also one of our favorite holidays to celebrate in the classroom! We get to dress up, be silly, and eat lots of candy!
We have fun preparing all the classroom activities and decorations for Halloween with the children: this year we made all the characters related to Halloween such as bats, ghosts, spiders, pumpkins and so much more using toilet rolls, cardstock paper and coloured paint where the children thoroughly enjoyed painting their feet and stamping on the cardboard.

When finally the 31th arrived, everybody (including the teachers) came to school dressed up in their favourite Halloween characters and we all danced and played games together for the rest of the day.
